Our Initiatives

1. Women Empowerment & Menstrual Health

For too long, menstruation has been treated as a taboo. In villages and slums, girls drop out of school simply because they lack access to sanitary products or are shamed for a natural process.

At Sanrakshan, we take this head-on.

• We conduct sanitary pad distribution drives in urban slums and rural belts.

• We organize awareness sessions that educate women and girls about menstrual hygiene.

• We provide safe spaces where they can ask questions without judgment.

Child Protection & Education

Children are the heartbeat of any society. Yet, too many grow up facing abuse, exploitation, and neglect.

Sanrakshan Foundation runs Good Touch & Bad Touch workshops in schools, shelters, and communities to help children understand their rights, recognize abuse, and learn to seek help.

We also provide educational support drives, distributing stationery kits, books, and essentials to children from underprivileged backgrounds—because a pen in a child’s hand is far stronger than fear in their heart.

3. Health & Hygiene Awareness

Health is not a privilege—it is a human right. Yet, many women suffer silently from preventable diseases like cervical cancer simply due to lack of awareness.

Our Cervical Cancer Awareness Drives aim to break the silence, spreading knowledge about prevention, screening, and treatment. In RWA societies, slums, and community gatherings, we ensure health education reaches those who need it most.

We also conduct hygiene workshops—teaching about handwashing, clean drinking water, and sanitation—small changes that create big impacts.

Environmental Sustainability

The Earth does not belong to us alone—it belongs to future generations.

Sanrakshan Foundation champions eco-awareness through:

• Plantation drives to green our cities.

• The Yamuna Project, cleaning stretches of the river and spreading awareness on water conservation.

• Animal & bird welfare campaigns, encouraging people to leave water and food for strays, especially in scorching summers.
